THESE ARE SOME OF THE SIGNIFICANT ADVANTAGES OF RIDING DOUBLECARVE 2-in-1 DRKP SURFSKATE TRUCKS & ADAPTERS:
- They offer longboard riders two very different ways of riding their RKP Trucks. The first is the well known downhill carving and sliding that RKP Trucks are already world famous for. But, now, with DRKP (Double Reverse Kingpin)Adapters, these same RKP Trucks can quickly be converted into top quality Surfskates! ...and all in only about 10 minutes time per truck. This is why we use the term: '2-in-1', because they are really 'dual purpose' Trucks...both regular RKP Downhill Trucks but also superior carving, Double RKP Surfskates! It all just depends on if the DRKP Adapter Bracket is installed, or not.
- In the converted DRKP Surfskate mode the turning angles are largely shallow and horizontal, and with very little 'board lean',(See arrows in the attached graphic, above). This makes the DRKP trucks much less 'twitchy' and 'divey' while riding them, as compared with other common surfskates on the market today.
- The new DRKP Trucks also allow up to 4 full sized Barrel Bushings to be mounted on each of the 'adapted' Trucks, significantly increasing DRKP Truck stability and overall 'Rebound'. Most other surfskates today lack in both quality 'Rebound' and 'Return to Center' when riding.
- Moreover, the new DoubleCarve Surfskate Adapters are also compatible with about 90% + of all other current RKP Truck brands on the market today. This means that the DRKP Adapters can be installed onto almost any other brand of RKP Trucks, such as Paris, Gullwing, Caliber, Randal, and including the many 'knock offs' of these Truck Brands, also. Only a very few RKP Truck Brands have models that are not compatible with the DoubleCarve Adapters, such as some RKP Bear Trucks and some of the RKP Atlas Brand Trucks, also.
- DRKP Surfskates also have a crazy sharp turning radius, (see attached video's) providing great LDP pumping, superior traction and precise downhill carving. And they also work great as a front truck on electric skateboards. So, to put it simply, these new trucks are really an awesome addition to the great sport of skateboarding!
How to Mount the DoubleCarve Adapter onto a RKP Baseplate. Notice the Precision Plug Barrel Bushing on the Baseplate Kingpin. Also, notice the L Bolt with a Ball Pivot that inserts into the Baseplate Pivot Cup.
Finally, notice the two 1.25 mm. Spacer Washers installed underneath the Adapter Bracket Pivot Cup.

Each ADAPTER KIT includes two 1.25mm. Steel Spacer Washers pre-installed under the Adapter Bracket's Pivot Cup. When installing the Adapter into various Brands of RKP Trucks, an additional Washer might be needed for a perfect alignment of the Truck Hanger. 2 extra Washers are included in the kit for this purpose.
